Cerri is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk management expert who brings more than 20 years of information security and operational risk management expertise to his work as a Consulting Partner at Digital Resilience.

He has held key banking and finance roles in Ireland and Australia and has been trusted by some of Australia’s largest regional banks, credit unions, and superannuation funds to design and implement their third-party supplier risk and control management frameworks.

Cerri specialises in designing and facilitating crisis management, business continuity, ransomware, and multi-party data breach simulation exercises. Key projects include strengthening the resilience of APRA-regulated entities and material service providers to cyber-attacks, assessing hundreds of third-party suppliers, and leading a government-sector superannuation fund through a major transition to elevate information security controls to conform with CPS 234.

A skilled educator who is committed to his industry, Cerri helps to develop the next generations of cybersecurity professionals and has shared his experiences with The University of South Australia students as a course lecturer.

Cerri is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Chartered Security Architect (SCF) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He also holds a Master of Science Communications from Queen’s University Belfast and is a member of ISACA, a leading global association for security and risk professionals.

Cerri is a keen cyclist and sports fan who has travelled across the US, Europe and Australia in pursuit of the perfect ride. He is married with three young children and enjoys watching them participate in soccer and AFLW. He is also dedicated to supporting gender equality on the pitch and in the work environment.
