Akrit brings more than a decade of cyber security experience to his work crafting practical, robust strategies as a Senior Consultant at Digital Resilience. 

Arkit’s knowledge of security intricacies is comprehensive and diverse, spanning finance, superannuation, retail, sports, civil engineering, media production and government. His experience also extends across many frameworks, standards, and controls including the ISO27000 family, NIST CSF, SACSF/ SAPSF, APRA CPS234, CIS, and Essential Eight. 

He is seasoned at mapping various standards and frameworks to each other including the SACSF to APRA CPS234, and NIST CSF 2.0 to CRI 2.0. This helps organisations comply with various standards and frameworks without needing to do numerous assessments.

Akrit is a Member of the Australian Information Security Association (MAISA) and a Certified Professional through the Australian Computer Society (MACS CP IP3P). He is also Certified in Cybersecurity by ISC2 and is an active Member of ISACA (Adelaide Chapter). With a Bachelor of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Cyber Security from Charles Sturt University, Akrit continues to embrace professional learning and is pursuing a Master of Cyber Security. 

Akrit is an avid rugby league, union and sevens fan. In his spare time, he loves travelling with his wife and two children in Australia and internationally. He is also a strong advocate of Cyber Safety for the young, vulnerable and elderly.
